Not at all! We've been providing this to our patients since March 2009 when Dr. Seward received his certification in San Antonio, TX.

Dr. Seward trained with Dr. Cliff Georgakalis of Boston in Florida in April 2007. He completed certification with Dr. Ryan Swain of Rochester, New York last March.

While we offer both regular Orthodontic treatment and 6Month Smiles at the practice, 6Month Smiles is proving to be very popular with young and older adults to avoid the time spent in braces and achieve a beautiful smile using virtually invisible braces.

The technique involves focusing on straightening the front teeth and accepting the bite as it is. This reduces the time needed. The braces are tooth coloured and the wires are also tooth coloured to make everything virtually invisible.

This treatment was invented by Dr. Georgakalis in 1991 and he began training dentists in 1998.

We are proud to be the first practice in Cork and Munster to provide this service. We have patients currently travelling to us from Galway, Clare, Tipperary and Waterford to avail of this.
